The staff was friendly and were very good too make us feel welcome. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the city center and easy access to transportation. The room, although small, was adorable and had all the necessary amenities. The breakfast was delicious and the servers were attentive. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this B&B to others.

Parking was tricky we used the irish life mal which was pricey enoughl, there was no way this b&b was worth the price they charge for the room

In order to get the free tea and coffee you have go to reception to ask for it, which meant going down 4 flights of steep chairs. We had to do the same for a baby bottle- they would not give us a kettle for in the room. The toilet in one of the rooms would not flush and the only reply was that they would have to get a new part for it the next day- I only had a 1 night stay. In order to get a discount due to this issue (we had to lift the lid of the toilet each time it was used) we would have had to wait for the manager to come which we heard when we checked out- waiting for him with all our luggage and a small child was not appealing

We were going to the Bruce Springsteen concert and found The Adelphi was very near the Dart. When we got there a very nice young man told us where to get off the Dart. All the staff were very nice and the breakfast was lovely..thank you.
The only problem we found was the stairs as we were on the top floor and we are not as young as we used to be...we probable should have booked it earlier to get a lower room other that that it was fine.

Excellent location. Breakfast was yummy and waitresses were polite. The room was clean.
The staff that greeted us were most unwelcoming - actually rude! The photos of the Adelphi Guesthouse are nothing like the actual rooms, the rooms were very basic and 'cold' rather than being homely as the photos displayed. Would not go back.

It was only few minutes away from Temple bar and a minute away from airport shuttle.
We would have to leave key at the recepcion every time we would go out and on the first day they were 3 different people at the reception. None of them asked as who we were, they would just hand overt the key when we asked them, so anyone could come to the hotel, ask for the key room and just walk in. There was a lot of dust in the bathroom ater a day of use. They didn`t clean it, they just changed the towels. Pictures on the Booked.net had nothing to do with the room that we actually got!

Good value for money. Good location. No frills - just clean accommodation at the heart of the city for a good price.
Lots of stairs!

Noisy room, extremely small bathroom, pretty poor breakfast. The location is good for aercoach connections and for shopping on Harry Street, but not that convenient for the city center (everything is arround Grafton street). Value for money does not compensate at all.

Location, price
Wifi did not work above second floor. On first day management promised to have issue fixed. By end of third day still no wifi. Train runs 18 hours a day outside window. Paper thin walls. Guests in room next door sound like they are in the room with you.

I had read bad reviews of Adelphi Guesthouse and my expectations where therefore a bit low. The reviews told of rude staff, small and dirty rooms etc. However when we arrived we were greated by the nice staff who right away offered us an upgrade free of charge (to a room with bathroom en suite instead of shared). The room was lovely, clean and newly refurbished. The breakfast was nice and simple and there's a choice between Full Irish or Continental. It doesn't include a lot of items but it does the job. We asked for a late check-out because our flight was in the evening and it was raining and asked the staff if this was okay. Again they were really helpful and agreed to a check-out at 2pm instead of 11am. Very impressive! I will recommend Adelphi to everyone who wants a nice central place to stay in Dublin. This is definitely one of the best guesthouses I have ever stayed in!

Staff were courteous. Excellent location for city centre shopping & sight seeing. Busy location but relatively little noise during the night.
Full Irish breakfast was basic & arrived when we were half way through eating our cereal -both mornings. My son asked for bacon only & was given 1 bacon & one sausage. I am guessing that bacon & sausages are strictly rationed to 1 per person per breakfast. A little severe!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms and public areas were very clean. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was fine. Hotel is within easy walking distance of downtown and sights. Also only 3min walk to the bus station (handy for airport bus).
